The CIOCD Affiliate Educational Outreach Program

The CIOCD Affiliate Educational Outreach Program welcomes consumer representation and input from every Canadian province and region. Educational outreach initiatives, presentations, lectures, support groups, provider list distribution, and newsletters about OCD and spectrum disorders through the life span will be made available to OCD sufferers and families across Canada. Information required for informed treatment choices will be provided to sufferers in remote regions.

Canadian Services for Obsessive Compulsive Disorders Through the Lifespan

The CIOCD Consumer Volunteer and Networking Group is headed by a dedicated young woman, Ms. Lori Merling. New participants are welcome.

The CIOCD will hold an annual conference focused on OCD and related disorders. The conference will include presentations, seminars, and training workshops on clinical and research themes offered to clinicians by OCD experts including Institute committee members. Many conference presentations will be open to OCD sufferers and their families as well as to care providers. The next event will be held in Toronto, Ontario.
